Gardening Tips for Autumn

Plant your spring flowering bulbs now -  we have a fantastic selection of bulbs in store from daffodils and jonquils to the highly fragrant hyacinths and gorgous tulips.

Autumn is the the best time to plant trees and shrubs - there is still warmth in the ground to get the roots settled and growing and the advantage of the autumn rains for establishment before the cold winter hits.

You can also see the brilliant autumn colours of decidious trees before they loose their leaves and choose your favourites ready to plant over Winter. Before too long our lovely range of decidious trees inlcuding fruit trees will arrive in store.

Mulch you garden to supress weeds so that you are well prepared over the cold months and into spring when the real growth will hit.
